Cancellation Policy for Educational Adventures

1. Introduction

This cancellation policy applies to all summer camp programs offered by Educational Adventures. We understand that plans can change, and this policy is designed to be as fair as possible to you while allowing us to offer the best experience for all campers.

2. Non-Refundable Deposit 

A non-refundable deposit of €500 is required to secure a place in any of our summer camp programs. This deposit is part of the total cost of the program and is not an additional fee. The deposit ensures your child’s spot in the camp and is used towards administrative and preparatory expenses.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Full Refund (Excluding Deposit): If you need to cancel your child’s enrollment in our summer camp, you may do so by notifying us in writing no later than 15th May 2024. You will be eligible for a full refund of any fees paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellation After 15th May 2024: Any cancellations made after 15th May 2024 will not be eligible for a refund. We incur significant expenses in preparation for the camp which are non-recoverable at this late stage.

4. Exceptional Circumstances 

Educational Adventures may consider refunds under exceptional circumstances after the 15th May deadline, such as serious illness or family bereavement. Such requests must be accompanied by relevant supporting documents (e.g., medical certificate) and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Visa and Parental Consent Requirements

  • Visa Requirement: It is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to ensure that a valid visa for travel to the UK is obtained for the camper. No refunds will be provided if the camper is unable to attend the summer camp due to the lack of a valid visa.
  • Parental Consent: A completed parental consent form to travel must be submitted for each camper. Failure to provide this form will result in the camper being unable to participate in the summer camp and no refund will be issued in such cases.

7. Policy Amendments

Educational Adventures reserves the right to amend this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to all registered participants and will be effective immediately upon announcement.
